The exterior boxes these come in can be a bit flimsy so they will ship within another larger box.
Good for small and medium pools up to around 4000 gallons / works with most pools as large as around 15 feet.  For reference the pump that comes with the Summer Waves Easy Set 16'x42" pool is also rated at 1,000 GPH/ gallons per hour but some reviews complain that it is undersized for that pool size.
