    Tlingit Frog Totem Pole Carved Painted Wood 17" Tall
    Alaska Pacific Northwest Coast tribes
    such as Tlingit, Inuit, Haida
    revered Frogs.
    Green Frog wood base measures 5 3/4 inches long x 4 inches wide x 1" high.
    Unsigned, no makers marks.
    I found a similar Frog Totem in historical photos from Wrangell, Alaska.
    Estate find. I purchased 3 totems from the same estate but no family was available to supply information.
    Attractive condition.  Some surface nicks. Sits in fitted carved Frog base but really needs to be re-glued in place.
